Addon Domains
An addon domain is a fully independent domain you can set up through your control panel. It functions as a separate website, hosted in a new folder within your account, allowing you to manage multiple domains from a single control panel. You can assign email addresses, forwarders, and other features to an addon domain, just like a primary domain. When you create an addon domain, the following occurs:
- A new folder is created in the public_html directory (or the home directory if specified).
- A subdomain of the primary domain is created and linked to this folder.
- The addon domain is connected to the subdomain.
- You can upload files to create a unique website for the addon domain.
Parked Domains
A parked domain acts as an alias for your primary domain, directing to the same website content. Multiple domains can point to the same site. For example, if gptservers.com is your primary domain, you can buy gptservers.net and set it as a parked domain. Visitors to gptservers.net will see the same content as gptservers.com.
Subdomains
A subdomain is a prefix added to your main domain, such as subdomain.gptservers.com, functioning like a domain within a domain. Subdomains are similar to addon domains and are often used to organize different sections of a website, like blog.gptservers.com or store.gptservers.com.
