When you access your cPanel dashboard, you’ll notice a metric labeled Entry Processes displayed on the left side.
Entry Processes refer to the number of PHP scripts running at any given moment. On our shared hosting accounts, the maximum allowed is 10 simultaneous PHP executions.
Since a PHP script generally finishes in about one second, this number is often misunderstood as a visitor limit. Having a limit of 10 does not mean only 10 people can be on your website at once. It is extremely unlikely that all visitors will trigger PHP processes at the exact same second.
In most situations, a limit of 10 Entry Processes can support around 30 to 40 active visitors on a website without issues. If your site receives low traffic yet frequently reaches the limit, this usually indicates inefficient scripts that are taking too long to complete.
