Overview
The Subdomain Management section in cPanel allows you to delete subdomains from your hosting account. Removing a subdomain does not delete the website files or folder connected to it.
Steps to Remove a Subdomain
-
Log in to your cPanel dashboard and go to the Domains section.
-
Click on Domains to view a list of all domains and subdomains associated with your account.
-
Find the subdomain you want to remove and click the Manage button next to it.
-
On the management page, select Remove Domain to delete the subdomain.
Confirmation Message
Once the subdomain is removed, you should see a success message similar to:
Success: The system removed the “example.domain.com” domain and any associated redirections.
Troubleshooting
Deleting a subdomain does not remove the content or folder that was assigned to it. If you no longer need those files, you will need to manually delete them from the File Manager.
