The Spam Scoring Filter in ASSP Deluxe is meticulously designed to minimize errors in spam detection. In Spam Scoring Mode, it evaluates each incoming email by assigning scores across multiple filters (including Bayesian, MX/A, PTR, HELO, SPF, RBL, URIBL, BOMBre, and PB). These scores are combined to determine if the email is spam. You can report false positives (legitimate emails marked as spam) and review all spam emails using the ASSP email interface.
Note: To report false positives, forward the email as an attachment to assp-notspam@clientdomain.com (replace clientdomain.com with your actual domain). To view blocked spam, send an email to assp-block@clientdomain.com. Regularly check your spambox (IMAP: /spambox folder; POP3: spambox@clientdomain.com) to ensure you don’t miss legitimate emails.
